The College offers BASIC B.Sc. NURSING (B.SC. NURSING) and GENRAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (GNM) programs in healthcare profession. Our curriculum is designed to foster professional growth. In addition to expanding knowledge and advancing technical skills, you will be challenged to think critically and grow personally. The intent of our programs is to build on prior bodies of knowledge and experiences by providing sound theoretical and clinical educational opportunities throughout the course of study.

Ananya School of Nursing offers B.Sc. in Nursing (Degree Course) and General Nursing and Midwifery GNM (Diploma Course). All These Courses Are Recognized by Government of Gujarat, Indian Nursing Council (New Delhi), Gujarat Nursing Council (Gujarat) and Affiliated with Gujarat University.

INFRASTRUCTURE-1

1. Class Rooms: All Class Rooms with L.C.D. Projectors: All the class rooms are well ventilated and spacious. All the class room are well equipped with latest Audio Visual Aids like LCD Projector, PANA Board (Board on which we can write, print the written material and used as a Screen for LCD Projector), Sound System and Models & Charts in the Class Room thus, educating them in high tech way. There are enough spacious classrooms and with comfortable seating arrangement for 50 students

2. Library: a spacious with an up to date and well balanced collection of over 2000 books of Indian and Foreign authors in the field of Field of Nursing, Fundamental of Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, OBG. & Gynecological Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Medicine, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, allied subjects and other related fields and well ventilated library is there in our college and separate and spacious reading room. For updating with latest research materials we provide free internet browsing to all students in library and for staff updating, we have land line internet connection on all PC of Principal and Head of the Department. We have    Wi – Fi connections in our college for staff and students. Library contents latest books of different subjects, journals, thesis, articles etc.

3. Anatomy lab: Anatomy lab is fully equipped with adequate charts, cadavers, human torso, specimens, slides, and visual aids, CDs to teach clinical and experimental anatomy as applicable to the clinical practice.

4. Pre Clinical Science Lab : Physiology, Biochemistry and Microbiology laboratory is well equipped with microscopes, specimen, charts, chemicals slides of various organism & parasites.

5. Nursing Foundation Lab: The laboratory is fully equipped to teach and practice the nursing procedures to the students. The lab is equipped with male and female Manikin, Baby dummy, CPR Kit, articles and instruments for various nursing procedures. There are 12 cots with linen, lockers, stretcher, Wheel chair, Cupboards etc. The lab is spacious, well ventilated and continuous water facility is available There is provision of Chalk board and sitting arrangement of 50 students in Lab.

6. Community Heath Nursing Lab: The Lab is equipped with the articles to teach home care procedures in community health nursing.

INFRASTRUCTURE-2

1. Midwifery and Child Health Nursing Lab : The child health laboratory is fully equipped to teach and practice the nursing procedures to the students. The lab is equipped with Baby dummy, CPR Kit, articles and instruments for various nursing procedures. There is 1 pediatric cot with linen, lockers, stretcher, play & Play Material according to growth and development of the child, Cupboards etc. The lab is spacious, well ventilated and continuous water facility is available There is provision of Chalk board and sitting arrangement of 50 students in Lab. The midwifery laboratory is fully equipped to teach and practice the nursing procedures to the students. The lab is equipped with Simulation dummy for normal delivery, Baby dummy, CPR Kit, articles and instruments for various nursing procedures related to midwifery. The lab is spacious, well ventilated and continuous water facility is available There is provision of Chalk board and sitting arrangement of 50 students in Lab.

2. Audio Visual AIDS Room: The institution has provided with advance A.V.AIDS such as LCD projectors, slide projectors, OHP, T.V., DVD, Audio sound system, computer white board, bulletin board, etc.

3. Computer Lab : The Computer Labs are ergonomically designed where future managers will get an opportunity to nurture their skills and potential according to the needs of global market and as per the benchmark of the international standards. At KIM, total 120 computer systems are installed with high end computer systems are developed through which updated technologies are imparted to future managers and making them industry efficient. 

4. Open space/Play area/Courtyard : Kalol Institute of Management has open space playground and courtyard for indoor games.

5. Mess/ Canteen : The institute has an operational mess facility for the students as well as for the guests.

6. Seminar hall/ Conference Hall : The institute has a spacious conference hall with seating capacity of more than 500 persons. The hall is central A/C and audio-visual.

Aims:

The general aims of nursing is to provide the learning atmosphere and opportunities for students to train NURSES equipped with knowledge, competence and commitment who are self directed individuals and responsible citizens. They are preparing to give comprehensive nursing care to individuals, families and community in heath as well as in illness. Further they are expected to participate in teaching and managerial functions in nursing education and nursing practice.

Our’s is a student focused institute where committed and dedicated staff of this organization will provide you a world class learning opportunities for the studies and to come out to be an international standard medical professional. A GURUKUL type of setup with lots of greenery and colorful flowers around, no air or sound pollution. Students can learn in a cool and calm atmosphere with full concentration. An ultra-modern building with good class rooms, laboratories, clinics, modern canteen, Very soon we are to fix a closed circuit T.V. for anatomy dissection learning. The office is well equipped with computers, fax, printers, Xerox machine (photo copier) and internet facilities. There is lots of open space for the overall growth of the students through play activities like cricket, volley ball etc. The college has a very talented, productive and dedicated faculty who are committed to provide a state of art and high quality education experience.

Approval & Affiliations

ANANYA SCHOOL OF NURSING offers BASIC B.Sc. NURSING (Degree Course) GENERAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (Diploma Course) Programs since 2016. All these courses are recognized by GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT, INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL (NEW DELHI), GUJARAT NURSING COUNCIL (GUJARAT), and affiliated with GUJARAT UNIVERSITY.

PROGRAMS (OR DEGREES)

Admission Eligibility :

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. However science is preferable.

• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the School recognized by Indian Nursing Council Or vocational stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/ State/Centre.

• Registered ANM with pass mark.

• Reservation : 3% for disables, 5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates and other reservation as per the government of Gujarat.

• Admission shall be once in a year.

• Students shall be medically fit.

Minimum age : 17 years (as on 31st December of that year). The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM and for LHV there is no age bar.

Admission procedure :

• Government Quota Seats 75% of total sanctioned seats which is filled by admission committee of paramedical courses at BJMC, Ahmedabad.

• Management Quota seats 25% of total sanctioned seats which is filled by management consortium of Gujarat State.

Career options after GNM Nursing

After qualifying with a GNM nursing, candidates can work in the following domains:

• Male Nurse : Huge demand of Male Nursing in India and Abroad.

Basic B. Sc. Nursing program : B. Sc. Nursing is a four year degree program which follows the syllabus prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.

Admission Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing

• A Candidate must have passed at the external evaluation in Higher Secondary examination under 10+2 education pattern or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects with minimum of 45% of marks.

• A Candidate heaving category of SC, ST & SEBC must have passed at the external evaluation in Higher Secondary examination under 10+2 education pattern or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects with minimum of 40% of marks.

• Eligible Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December of the year of his / her joining the college.

• There is no sex bar for the admission to B. Sc. Nursing course hence male candidate can also be admitted.

• Admission is allowed for married candidates also.

 

Admission procedure :
